How Dino’s Pizza Came to Summerside & Charlottetown

The founder of Dino’s Pizza, Leo Ayoub, opened our very first location back in 1988 on Wyse Road in Dartmouth, NS. It was such a big hit that he decided to expand and ended up opening six other locations all across Dartmouth and Halifax. Leo's two sons, Rami and Claude Ayoub, decided to carry on with the family business. That’s when the journey toward Prince Edward Island began.

PEI gained its very first Dino’s Pizza in July of 2007 in Charlottetown on University Avenue. Owned and managed by Claude Ayoub, it received a very warm welcome from the Islanders, and has built a large customer base all across PEI.

Summerside welcomed its very own Dino’s Pizza location in the summer of 2011. Rami Ayoub bought out the Old Salvation Army building, and within three months transformed it into one of Summerside’s busiest pizza spots.
